Absent Friends

In the “Absent Friends” suite Ro Cook combines the two themes of death and friendship in pieces representing individual friends and family members.
The work is made using traditional and sustainable techniques on hand loomed fabric with hand printing, stitching and embellishment.
She investigates the bond of textiles as the common element in all cultures and communities.
